Juvenile Defense

Adult criminal matters and juvenile delinquency matters have some things in common.  Juveniles and adults share Constitutional rights.  They are prosecuted by the same entities - the district attorneys offices.  But, there are significant differences between an adult criminal matter and a juvenile delinquency matter.

Juvenile delinquency matters are processed through a completely different court.  They are not public and access to juvenile court documents is strictly limited.  Even the purpose of the Juvenile Court is different from the District and Superior Courts.

It is important when confronting an accusation in the juvenile court to work with someone who understands those differences.
