Restraining Orders

Restraining orders are intended to protect people from harassment or abuse.  But, sometimes people request them without a proper legal basis or they request the wrong kind of order. 

 

It is a crime to violate a restraining order.  So it is important to prevent an unlawful order from issuing and to to secure a valid order when you need one.
